Ring in the New Year with a New Latini

Happy New Year from New Latina!!

Let’s celebrate the end of a wonderful year and look forward to 2012!

In honor of New Latina I share with you a cocktail filled with the flavors of the tropics.

Coconut and guava scream sunny days, bright futures and hope. I raise my glass to you today our loyal readers for sharing your past, present and future with us here at New Latina.

Together we will make 2012 radiate with positive vibes!

New Latini

by Vianney Rodriguez of sweetlifebake.com (makes one serving)

1 ounce coconut juice
1 ounce vodka
2 ounces guava juice
1 ounce fresh lime juice combined with a splash of agave

Fill cocktail shaker with ice and add all ingredients. Shake and serve in chilled martini glasses. Garnish with lime slice and guavas slices.
