My husband is the one to blame for my affair since he was the one who introduced me to TED. It all began when I complained that we were paying too much for premium cable TV. Days would go by without us turning the TV on, and when we did, we could not find anything interesting to watch. That is when I said enough and Rodolfo purchased and connected ROKU, a streaming player. A few days later— through ROKU— I met and tried TED with Rodolfo’s encouragement. TED is not a guy, but it has two key traits that a guy with whom I could have an affair must have: brilliant and intellectually challenging. TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a nonprofit devoted to “ideas worth spreading.” And TED brings TEDTalks via the Internet. The speakers delivering these enthralling talks are the world’s leading innovators and thinkers. Ever since our TV was hooked to Roku hardly a day goes by without me watching at least one TEDTalk during my lunch-break at home. That same evening, over dinner, I get to describe my affair’s latest episode to a devoted husband, who usually replies: “¡Cómo estás con TED!”

I love TED too! I was introduced to it in college years ago and it never fails to disappoint…always a consistent supplier of inspiration! :)
