Angélica Discusses Bicultural Latinas on Hispanic MPR

Recently, I had the opportunity to listen to Angélica, publisher of NewLatina.net, speak about bicultural Latinas on Hispanic MPR.  This is something we’ve talked about from time to time, but I have to admit, it was wonderful to hear her talk in length on this topic.  During the podcast on Hispanic MPR, Angélica talks about her experience growing up bicultural, translating for her parents and navigating two worlds that influence everything from her parenting style to her choice in profession.

I love Angélica’s strength and expertise in this conversation…it’s totally her realm.  She is such an amazing role model for women and I just love that she uses this platform to inform mainstream and PR listeners about the diversity and strength of Latina women.

Listen in and hear why Angélica started NewLatina.net, why she feels that bicultural Latinas are navigating a very unique space in the U.S. and why she is so driven toward empowering today’s New Latinas!
