“Salud, amor, dinero…y tiempo para disfrutarlos.”

This celebratory toast is at the heart of what many Latinas hold near and dear: health, family and moving up in the world. But for many professional women, especially Latinas, health takes a back seat to getting ahead in the job market while supporting a family.
All around us, smart and ambitious Latina women are breaking through the glass ceilings of their careers — and that’s great news. But hard work shouldn’t get in the way of leading a healthy lifestyle. In fact, incorporating healthy habits will help you  become sharper, more focused and more productive at work.
The American Heart Association created Vida Saludable – a site to help Hispanic families get healthy and stay healthy together. Check out this article, which lists eight simple ways to build healthy habits into your workday. Staying healthy is important for you — and your family!
