According to a new infographic created by Expert Market, Georgia is the place to be if you’re a female entrepreneur. Chalk it up to the state’s low cost of living and incredible and the state’s women-focused career resources, like Atlanta’s Women’s Employment Opportunity Project (WEOP) and the Greater Women’s Business Council.
Interestingly enough, Georgia is just one of many southern states represented on the list. This phenomenon is likely the result of “the lower startup costs enjoyed in Southern cities compared to more expensive metropolitan areas like New York, San Francisco and Boston,” explains Expert Market.
